T<\/span>his was awkward. I was just about to ask the most famous Indian man on Twitter, who no one really knows, the reason for his fame, and I\u2019d somehow found myself sitting next to him in his car.\n\nThis was the first time I\u2019d met Tehseen Poonawala, the guy who yesterday broke the Indian internet yet again when he \u201c<\/p>ended all relations\u201d<\/a>\u00a0with his brother Shehzad Poonawalla, because Shehzad came out blasting the Congress for rigging<\/a>\u00a0its Presidential elections for Rahul Gandhi.\n\nSome months ago, I\u2019d found \u201cHappy Birthday Tehseen Poonawalla\u201d trending on the top of my Twitter feed for hours on end. It wasn\u2019t a sponsored trend and it was not the first time I\u2019d seen his name pop up on the micro-blogging platform. So I asked the question you\u2019re thinking about: Who, in the name of holy social media heaven, was Tehseen Poonawalla?\n\nHis Twitter bio is: \u201cPolitical Trendwatcher, Life coach, Entrepreneur & Columnist. Student of Mythology yet an atheist. Pledged organs.\u201d Which is basically code for \u201cI\u2019m rich\u201d. But his birthday messages labelled him a \u201cYouth Icon\u201d and a \u201cShining star\u201d and upon further research, I realised they were definitely not bots. His Twitter followers are upwards of 1 lakh, and his tweets seem to get banger engagement.\n\nTake for instance, the pinned tweet<\/a> on his profile, that has nearly eight thousand retweets. He has quoted a guy who asked him to check his Twitter history, where Poonawalla once called Monicka Vadera \u201csexy\u201d. Poonawalla\u2019s response is: \u201cDude @mvadera<\/a> is my wife. And yes i think she is super sexy. And Wtf is wrong in that sir?\u201d (That other fella, who challenged Poonawalla, has now deleted his profile.)\n\nNow I realise I\u2019m sitting uncomfortably close to the brother-in-law of Robert Vadra, the seat of Dilli\u2019s actual power. Poonawalla, a good-looking man with high cheeks, is rocking a sharp blue blazer, a crisp white shirt, and obviously expensive shoes. But it\u2019s his Twitter visibility that I am interested in.\n
